The CMIP6-Endorsed MIPs

Schematic of the CMIP6 experiment design (Eyring et al., 2016). CMIP DECK experiments and the CMIP6 historical simulation form the inner part and are standard experiments. They represent an entry card for models that would like to participate in CMIP6 and its endorsed MIPs. The middle ring and outer ring connect science topics with corresponding CMIP6-endorsed MIPs.

During the CMIP6 cycle, specific science questions were addressed through endorsed MIPs. Below you can find all of the CMIP6-endosed MIPs. Click on the MIP to read more information, including a MIP summary, details on joining the MIP mailing list, a reference to the MIP overview paper, and a list of models who have submitted data to the MIP.
