Venue and logistics
Venue
The meeting will be hosted at Linacre College in Oxford: Linacre College, St Cross Road, Oxford, OX1 3JA.
Oxford is located roughly 90 km north-west of London
Getting to the venue
Once in Oxford, Linacre College is a ~25 minute walk from the train station. Alternatively, you could catch one of the 1, 5, 17, or S1 buses to reduce this walk time slightly. However, there is no direct bus service from the station to outside Linacre College.
If you arrive into Oxford via the bus, we recommend getting off at the Queens Lane stop. Linacre College is less than a 15 minute walk from there.
From Central London
Direct trains run between London Paddington or London Marylebone to Oxford regularly.
If you arrive into the Eurostar terminal at London St Pancras, you can catch the London Underground Circle (yellow) or Hammersmith & City (light pink) lines direct to London Paddington where you can transfer onto a direct train to Oxford.
You can either ‘tap on’ to London Underground trains using a contactless card, or purchase a ticket on the machines at the station.
You can purchase ticket single or return train tickets between London and Oxford via the National Rail website. You can also purchase tickets at the machines at the station.

- London Heathrow Terminal 5: Located at Wellington Rd, near Plane Food
You can purchase tickets either in advance online, or using a contactless card as you board the coach.
By Train
There is no direct train from Heathrow to Oxford, but you can take either the Heathrow Express or the Elizabeth Line to London Paddington, then catch a train from London Paddington to Oxford. The Heathrow Express runs every 15 minutes.
You can either ‘tap on’ to the Elizabeth Line using a contactless card, or purchase a ticket at the ticket machines at the station. The Elizabeth Line has stations at any of Terminals 2, 3, 4, or 5. Terminals 2 and 3 share a station.
