CMIP Data Citation and Licenses

If CMIP data is used, it must be cited. This enables modelling centres and others who support CMIP to gain recognition for their efforts, and secure funding for continued contribution. The use of CMIP data must also conform to licensing restrictions. You should also upload your publication to the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) CMIP publication hub.

On this website, we have a new CMIP Document Library. This library is still being collated, but plans to contain all CMIP-related publications as possible. The CMIP Document Library will automatically pull publications from the LLNL CMIP Publication Hub, so make sure your paper has been upload to ensure its visibility on the CMIP website.
