The interest in the CMIP Community Workshop 2026 (CMIP 2026) has far exceeded our expectations and we had to close in person registration in mid November as had reached venue capacity. Following this we have received many individual requests to attend in person, and after some review of capacity limits, we have identified a small number of additional in person spaces. To ensure the most transparent and fair allocation we are now opening a short window for those interested to apply for an in person registration space.
How to apply
To submit your application for a CMIP 2026 in person registration space please the application form. You can access this by clicking ‘Apply now!’.
Deadline and selection process
Applications remain open until 23:59 UTC, 11th January 2026. The CMIP 2026 Scientific Organising Committee will then review the applications and successful applicants will be notified on 16th January and must register by 23:59 UTC, 20th January 2026.
Please do not email individual members of the Scientific Organising Committee or CMIP IPO regarding in person registration. If you want to attend you must apply by completing the form.
